We’re all in with and for the next generation.
Wise words from Erin Schrode: We do this for the kids — those who are growing up before our eyes, those who are graduating in Marin City and across the county today, those who are yet to come, those whose spirits live on forever, like Kwentyn Wiggins. Behind the Conscious Kitchen meals she’s holding, her shirt reads Kwentyn Terrell Wiggins #ForeverYoung — a beautiful soul gone one year ago today and far too soon. But he’s clearly with us and giving us signs! I never had the privilege to know Kwentyn personally, but feel blessed to have grown up with his cousins and to now be working with his powerhouse momma to serve the Marin City community in this time of need. And I’ve heard and read only the most phenomenal things from mutual friends, community leaders and teachers we shared at MCDS. He was beloved by all who crossed the vibrant path of this kind-hearted, hardworking, generous, positive, skilled, passionate leader and true team player. Kwentyn’s memory lives on powerfully in the hearts of friends, family, all who are keeping his spirit alive and his message heard. I feel it. And we honor it.
